A reciprocal guild centering all women’s voices.
About Us
Founded in 2026, Beloved Fields is a reciprocal guild centering women’s voices, creativity, ancestral knowledge, and collective care. Through shared learning, artistic expression, storytelling, and community engagement, we honor ancestral narratives as living inheritances—capable of being remembered, re-examined, and transformed through intentional reflection, creative practice, and collective stewardship.

As a reciprocal guild, Beloved Fields is built on the understanding that wisdom moves through exchange: everyone has knowledge to offer and wisdom to receive. We foster meaningful relationships, mentorship, collaboration, and belonging by creating opportunities for individuals to contribute their gifts while participating in a community grounded in care, reciprocity, and growth.
Beloved Fields is guided by its founding members: President Ebony Frison, Treasurer Megan Gibb, and Secretary Melissa Slavsky. WHY BEES
At Beloved Fields, bees are at the heart of our mission because they teach us what it means to live in reciprocity—with one another and with the earth. For thousands of years, honey and bees have held deep cultural and ancestral significance, symbolizing abundance, healing, resilience, alchemy, and community across many traditions.
Bees also sustain healthy ecosystems by pollinating the plants that nourish our food, wildlife, and landscapes, making them essential to environmental well-being. Their honey has long been valued for its natural sweetness and health-supporting properties, connecting ancient wisdom with everyday care.
Through Re:memory Apiary, we honor these enduring relationships by cultivating pollinator habitats, preserving ecological knowledge, and creating opportunities for education, creativity, and collective stewardship. Every hive reminds us that small acts of care can create lasting change—for people, communities, and the planet.
Our founding hive serves as a living breathing mascot for Beloved Fields, a symbol for the powerful action of women coming together in common purpose.
RE:MEMORY APIARY
Re:Memory Apiary is the ecological initiative of Beloved Fields, cultivating urban honey bee hives that connect environmental stewardship, ancestral wisdom, and community care. Through beekeeping, education, and pollinator advocacy, we create spaces where people, pollinators, and the land can thrive together while preserving knowledge for future generations.
“The bee is a symbol of cooperation and community. It shows us that we can achieve great things
when we work together.”
